GuZo Microfinance S.C. announces formation in Addis Ababa

GuZo Microfinance Share Company has begun its formation process with its corporate seat in Addis Ababa. The institution aims to fill the gap left after Ethiopia's largest regional microfinance institutions converted into commercial banks.

GuZo will serve the "missing middle" through less bureaucratic processes, fast loan turnaround, digital convenience and relationship-driven account management.

Operations are subject to licensing by the National Bank of Ethiopia.
